Technology Director

About the Role

As Technology Director, you’ll mentor and oversee our developer team while shaping the future of technology at Little Plains. This role is about building an essential part of the studio — answering the brief of what a technology team should look like inside an AI-first creative agency in 2025. You’ll bring new ideas, frameworks, and systems to the table, work closely with our design, brand, and strategy teams, and ensure LP delivers highly interactive, scalable digital experiences at the highest level of craft.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in front-end development with proven experience leading and mentoring developer teams in design-driven environments.
  • Deep knowledge of modern frameworks (Next.js, React), with working familiarity in Webflow and Framer.
  • Experience establishing scalable workflows — CI/CD pipelines, QA automation, deployment practices, and maintainable codebases.
  • Ability to design reusable frameworks, starter kits, component libraries, and design tokens that improve speed and consistency.
  • Skilled at bridging development with UI/UX, brand, and strategy teams to deliver highly interactive digital experiences.
  • Actively building and implementing AI-assisted workflows and adaptive architectures; bringing new tools, prototypes, and approaches into production that redefine how technology supports creativity.
  • High attention to detail; hold yourself to the highest standard of excellence in design and execution.
